Internship - Big Data Job Full Job Title:Intern - Big Data Job Number:1802987 Location:Tampa,FL Date Posted:5-1-2018 -LOCATION: Henderson Road Tampa, FL 33634 We are looking to hire an intern for the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Department. This department supports WellCare business through a vast range of data integrations, on-demand and cyclical reporting, and data insights while drawing upon and managing thousands of information sources. Essential Functions: The intern will be placed directly on a core team and perform responsibilities that align with their background, skills and career goals. This will involve: -Shadowing various members of the team -Attending project meetings -Learning technical systems and relevant healthcare industry concepts. The intern will be assigned deliverables that may include requirements, analysis, documentation, troubleshooting problems and hands-on development in accordance with the abilities of the intern. In-house technologies include Oracle, Greenplum, Hadoop, Informatica, Data Science tools, Tableau among others. Additional Responsibilities: -Participate in the support of existing systems, consisting of monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and remediation of system issues. -Increase knowledge of computer skills and technology -Participate in Analysis, Requirements, Design and/or Development as part of a project or system enhancement. May also participate in Data Science related initiatives. -Learn planning, organizational and time management skills and adapt to changes. -Develops skill to work in a large team and be able to communicate with other team members. Candidate Education: -Required Other Currently enrolled as a Senior or Graduate student in a college program with course work related to the internship with a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
