Whats the Segment Performance and Product Development Team at Wellmark? Besides being a mouthful, the team works with stakeholders to define long-term competitive strategy and develop the products and services needed to best serve Wellmarks diverse customers. By leading annual strategic planning, researching customer demographics, creating sales and communications campaigns and developing next generation products and service, the team must be at once analytical, creative, business savvy, strategic and collaborative in a highly visible role. What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include: What competitive pressure will Wellmark face in the future? How can we address the shifting health care landscape through the products and services we offer? As costs continue to increase, what steps can Wellmark take to stabilize prices for our members? How are our competitors doing this? Based on competitive position, market trends and other factors, help determine how Wellmark membership might change over time Using proprietary data, predict the needs and behaviors to identify certain personas of Wellmarks largest clients to inform sales and product strategy.
