• Rosemont, IL Wintrust is recruiting for an HR Service Center Representative. Reporting into Corporate HR department, this position provides comprehensive HR support via both phone and email on employee and manager issues. Responsibilities include: * Engage in HR related customer service support, responding to questions and researching issues as appropriate. * Engage in data entry of employee HR transactions, including but not limited to benefits decisions, compensation actions, and payroll corrections. * Respond to employee benefits questions throughout year and assist in ongoing and annual open enrollment. * Respond to Kronos (timekeeping) and Payroll related questions, researching issues and acting as liaison between field HR and Payroll. * Respond to employee ad hoc requests for data. * Respond to income verifications, employment verification, and unemployment verifications * Onboard employees into relevant systems (Fusion, Regulatory University, etc.) * Answer tier one employee relations questions, provide clarification on handbook items and provide interpretation on policies. Escalate employee matters when necessary. * Engage with employees on resolution of issues, ensuring fairness, consistency of practice, alignment with Wintrust policies and procedures, and adherence to all relevant laws. * Foster positive employee engagements and refer emerging employee relations issues to Regional VPs of Talent Management. * Engage with all stakeholders with a superior service orientation, quality focus, accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications * High School Degree required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. * 3+ years experience working in HR or previous Call center exposure preferred. * Broad HR knowledge, understanding of Benefits, Payroll and Policies. * Working knowledge of relevant systems such as Kronos, Fusion, Taleo and other HR systems. * Ability to multi-task and manage multiple internal customer requests in various formats, including phone calls; emails and face to face employee traffic. * Effectively prioritize requests, respond timely and resolve issues with speed and quality. * Enter data into relevant systems with efficiency and accuracy. * Experience resolving customer issues with diplomacy and tact. * Excellent written, interpersonal communication and telephone skills. * High degree of detail orientation & confidentiality As your local community bank, we work hard to support the neighborhoods we serve.
