SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Internship Program provides participants with a ten-week orientation to Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Technology division.  The internship will run from June-early August 2020.  The experience includes relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and exposure to key leaders.  It is designed to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business, technical, and professional developmental training. The program targets exceptional rising seniors with consideration for exceptional rising juniors.

In addition to participating in the Wells Fargo Corporate Intern Program virtual learning series, our interns will have the opportunity to understand the day-to-day responsibilities of a team member and gain comprehensive professional and industry experience. This program provides opportunities to be a part of a team that develops business solutions through innovation.  The program exposes interns to a variety of business groups, providing a firm understanding of the company's operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. 

NTERN OPPORTUNITIES:

The 2020 Internship Program offers a variety of opportunities within our Business CIO teams, Technology Infrastructure, and Information Security.  These businesses are at the heart of what enables Wells Fargo to satisfy everyone from global customers to team members by providing best-in-class security and tools to protect Wells Fargo data and strategic technology-based products, services, and governance.  You will be assigned to one of these businesses for the duration of the ten-week program.  The internship program is a direct pipeline to our full-time Associate program. 

Internships are primarily located in Charlotte with other locations potentially available.

FORUM OVERVIEW

The Wells Fargo Women in Technology Intern Forum is an exclusive two-day program designed to encourage and inspire women who have an interest in pursuing a career in Technology. A select group of high-performing students from diverse backgrounds will be invited to participate.

During the forum, you will have the opportunity to learn from successful women in technology at Wells Fargo who will share their expertise and knowledge to help you become a future leader. You will develop an understanding of Wells Fargo’s unique values and culture, which you will experience first-hand in your interactions with highly talented team members.  You will have an accelerated opportunity to interview with hiring managers for multiple summer internship positions across the Wells Fargo Technology platform.

• Early consideration for openings in 2020 Technology Internships
• Panel discussions with alumni from the Technology Program
• Professional development workshops around Personal Branding, Team Building and Leadership
• Seminar on Interview Preparation
• Networking with Technology Leaders and Program Alumni
• Presentation about Wells Fargo, Technology, and Career Paths

• When:  October 28th-29th, 2019

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Open to all students who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM related major and graduating between December 2020-May 2022

• Cover letter not required, but accepted. If submitting a cover letter, please bundle with your resume into ONE document (Word or PDF), and upload in the Resume section of the application. 

• If a cover letter is included,  explain why you are interested in attending the Wells Fargo Women in Technology Intern Forum, highlighting qualities that make you a competitive candidate

• Applications will be accepted between Sept 5th- Sept 22nd. 

• Candidates invited to the forum will be contacted individually with additional information and details

• All travel and meal expenses will be paid by Wells Fargo.
