The Nasdaq Governance Solutions (NGS) technology group is responsible for the development and support of the Nasdaq Boardvantage and Directors Desk applications. These business-to-business (b2b) web and mobile applications provide a platform for public and private companies to manage the meeting workflow of their boards of directors. We are a geographically diverse software development group that operates using an agile/scrum approach. Our product encompasses a diverse suite of technologies, providing a very challenging and enriching experience for our developers.

In this role you will:

• Assist in the design, development, and support of an enterprise board portal web platform and related components
• Translate business requirements into well-designed and documented software components based on Java / .NET technologies
• Provide contributions to the overall architecture of the product with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance
• Participate in all phases of the lifecycle of software application development with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality, code reviews and implementation

• Solid object-oriented programming knowledge
• Experience in SQL, JavaScript, React, Java or similar technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
