The goal of this internship is to convert to a full-time position.

Nasdaq provides its Tradeguard suite to brokers, hedge funds, and clearing firms which gives them real-time views of aggregated trading activity across markets, asset classes and trading systems.

The Tradeguard development team uses the Agile/Scrum process to develop Risk solutions for their customers.

The Tradeguard team needs a developer to work as part of this team and to automate manual operational and customer support processes using Python, Linux, and possibly Java.

• Participate in an Agile/Scrum development team
• Attend daily standup: give status and discuss any roadblocks
• Work with the stakeholders to document project requirements
• Design a solution in partnership with other developers
• Implement the solution
• Test the solution
• Demo the solution at the end of the Sprint

• Junior or Senior students majoring in Computer Science
• 1-2 years experience using Python and Linux
• Experience using Java is nice to have
• Self-motivated
• Team player
