    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    The Nasdaq Investment Intelligence business provides innovative real-time and historical information products for multiple asset classes, as well as analytic solutions designed for investors of all sizes and at every stage of the investment lifecycle.

    Project Overview

    Support ad-hoc executive requests on preparing preliminary sales presentations in PowerPoint and other mediums on business unit financials, metrics, competitor data, and other business intelligence. Potential Salesforce process/functional improvement and data quality checks & clean up. Documentation of best business practices.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    • Prepares preliminary drafts of briefing materials for client calls and meetings from the Sales Team and performs quality reviews for grammar and formatting
    • Prepares various reports of current and potential clients using multiple, various databases and systems
    • Support ad-hoc executive requests on business unit financials, metrics, competitor data, and other business intelligence as needed
    • Cold calls prospective clients and summarizes information
    • May support the sales team by taking notes during earnings, calls summarizing customer issues, providing phone support and responding to basic customer inquiries
    • Prepares preliminary sales presentations in PowerPoint and other mediums
    • Provides support on other projects as necessary
    • Has general understanding of the product portfolio
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, or Finance, or Accounting, or related fields (must be graduating by June 2022)
    • Knowledge of common financial concepts and practices, including forecasting, budgeting, and related analysis and processes
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated self-drive and well developed organizational skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
    • Project management skills
    • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SQL/R or BI tools (Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau)
