    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Index Licensing Administration Team (IX) operates under the Investment Intelligence Group and is responsible for index contract execution, monthly, quarterly, annual, and semi-annual billing, collecting Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting, the collections process, revenue sharing with Co-Branded partners and Re-Accrual activities. The Index Licensing Admin Team is also responsible for administering these licenses in accordance with their respective terms and conditions which includes calculating and invoicing all license fees based on the terms of the contracts. Promotion and sales of index licenses are negotiated through the Nasdaq Index Licensing Sales Team by way of participation in industry conferences, direct contact with issuers, and extensive working relationships between Nasdaq and their customers.

    Project Overview

    The intern project will most likely be comparing and validating Merlin tracked data with support system data in anticipation of new system integration. Systems used in conjunction with Merlin are BIS, Workday, Coupa, NASDASH, DocuSign, Salesforce, and MS Access.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    Ideally, the summer intern will assist with the day to day tasks per each team member. Tasks may include:

    • Data quality reconciliations
    • Monthly, quarterly, and annual billing reconciliations
    • Participate in new system integration activities
    • Email management
    • Lead on ad hoc reports for support groups
  • Qualifications
    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, or Finance, or Economics, or related fields (preferably graduating by 2022 or 2023)
    • Must be analytical
    • Has knowledge in using SQL Server Management Services
    • Experienced in using MS Excel and MS Access
    • Highly organized and self-starter
