    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Data Product Business Operations Analyst is a member of the GIS Data Product Support Services team whose focus is supporting Nasdaq‘s Global Information Services (GIS) proprietary data products and services. You will work closely with the GIS Sales, Product Management, and Operations teams while liaising with Global Technology and Global Trading Services teams to provide first-line customer support of all US market data products (including Nasdaq Basic, Nasdaq Last Sale, QBBO, TotalView, and GIDS). You will work daily with a great team growing on a daily basis.

    Project Overview

    Collecting data residing on different platforms (e.g. Salesforce & Merlin) to generate client contact lists needed by marketing and Data Product Support teams for urgent communication with clients for critical product updates.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    • Providing front line support to clients answering product and technical questions
    • Draft and manage time-sensitive customer news communications, websites, and database corrections and follow up as appropriate with external clients and internal partners
    • Engage external clients on content, system, and process issues related to GIS Data Products via vendor alerts, mass emails, and direct communications
    • Support migrations and upgrades of GIS Data Products by partnering with Nasdaq technical and development teams
    • Report on and analyze various operational metrics with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business or Finance or Economics (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Someone who is comfortable balancing the needs of high touch external clients with internal customers’ and stakeholders’ requirements
    • Has good interpersonal skills, highly self-aware and emotionally intelligent

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A good problem solver and comfortable managing high profile problems within tight time constraints
    • Ability to investigate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
