    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    Our Team

    The Digital Intern will support our digital team by producing ongoing content for our award-winning website, Nasdaq.com.

    Project Overview

    The Digital Intern will gain valuable hands-on writing experience, producing ongoing content for our global website, Nasdaq.com. He/she will also have the unique opportunity to work across the company by partnering with our social media, broadcast, and events teams, as well as our various business units. By summer's end, he/she will have a solid portfolio of work ready to share.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    • Researching and writing articles on topics and themes important to our audience, including technology, markets, blockchain, crypto, IPOs, corporate events, etc.
    • Write profiles of Nasdaq clients and leadership
    • Support the digital team by editing and publishing articles; as well as drafting social copy
    • Identify and pitch new story ideas
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, or Marketing, or Communications (must be graduating by June 2022)
    • A natural storyteller with strong writing and editing skills
    • Solid grasp of markets and/or technology
    • A team player with a can-do spirit!

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience or demonstrated interest in journalism or digital media is a plus
    • Basic knowledge of HTML / Photoshop is a plus, but not required
