The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.
This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

The Economic Research team is experts in quantitative analysis, data science, financial products, market microstructure, financial regulation, and exchange competition. ER analysts provide Nasdaq’s rapid response to the most pressing issues facing the company and the financial industry. ER analysts have frequent contact with all levels of management, customers, and regulators, providing excellent opportunities for advancement. The team works with a wide array of trading systems and industry data to provide valuable insights to the industry and within Nasdaq.

Your Role
The intern will work closely with other members of the ER team to further Nasdaq’s understanding of the financial markets. The intern will research metrics, techniques, and theoretical models to analyze the given project. The intern will partake in a collaborative team environment and gain exposure to a wide variety of research and business projects that the team is working on. The research will be used for thought leadership, improving exchange functionality, and/or competitive responses to industry trends.
