    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    Our Team

    We are the Global Technology Financial Planning & Analysis group, our primary role focuses on financial planning, monthly close, and special projects. We don't require an accounting background, but a working knowledge of basic accounting is helpful. We require people with a strong work ethic and a desire to work as part of a larger team that focuses on overall group success.

    Project Overview

    We would likely have this person work on projects based on our current financial processes or tools and make recommendations on improvements.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The intern will learn the basics of financial planning and accounting as part of a team supporting a large, public, multi-national organization. We are always part of large and important projects. The desire to work hard and learn as you go is critical.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Finance, or Economics, or Accounting, or a related field (must be graduating in 2022)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Has good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must, and previous experience is a plus
