    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    Nasdaq, powering more than 120+ global markets and a global leader in the tech space, is seeking a part-time paid intern in our creative services and brand department. The position is ideal for a student specializing in graphic design, who wishes to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment. The hours are to be set in consideration of the student’s academic schedule and in consultation with our department managers. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required.

    Project Overview

    • Build out of Brand Studio digital portfolio
    • Research and create a brand identity for employee networks
    • Create a housing and digital archive system for design templates, for use by the in-house team and outside creative partners

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The intern will join a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative team, working closely with our in-house graphic designers, art directors to create brand and marketing materials for internal and external clients. The intern will:

    • Design branded marketing materials, such as social banners, fact sheets, web banners, and other collateral for our clients
    • Participate in meetings with the creative team to discuss work and advance the visual identity of the brand
    • With oversight from a department mentor, execute a large project culminating in a presentation before the marketing department
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Marketing, or Communications (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, take direction, receive feedback, pivot when necessary, and execute accordingly, while taking risks in your work
    • Comfortable presenting and discussing your work

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
