    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

We work with over 4,000 companies and organizations and business leaders to provide expertise, insights, and technology solutions that help our clients execute their business strategies.

    Project Overview

    The IR East Sales Intern will make phone and email outreach to prospective clients to set up meetings for ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). He/She will make outreach using trends and themes we're seeing in the capital markets which resonates with public companies. Once the meeting is secured with the Senior Sales Director and company, the Intern will participate in the client meetings to learn the sales process.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    • Support the Senior Sales Directors to strategically identify key growth opportunities
    • Monitor the capital markets and develop a deep understanding of the capital markets and Investor Relations
    • Become a subject matter expert on Nasdaq technology and consulting services and sharing knowledge with clients and prospective clients
    • Add value to potential clients by leveraging Nasdaq’s thought leadership and proprietary insights
    • Contact senior client and prospective client executives, arrange meetings, and perform demonstrations as required
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business or Finance or Economics (must be graduating by June 2022)
    • Someone who is interested in a potential Sales career
    • Strong communication skills both in written and verbal
