    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Index Business Manager supports all groups within the Nasdaq business to enable business process improvement. The team will work across the organization to streamline processes for R&D, Operations, Index Portfolio Management, and Client Services, teams. Initiatives include business process automation management, business process improvement projects, and operational support of the business.

    Project Overview

    The intern may participate in the Appian project, working with Index subject matter experts to collect and document business requirements for process automation, help configure or work with developers to configure and set up an automated workflow, create test plans, and test the functionality of the finished product.

    The intern will support the Index Business Manager to drive for results in business process improvement initiatives.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Finance, or Economics, or Math, or related fields (must be graduating in 2022)
    • Has strong communication skills both written and verbal
    • Strong organization skills
    • Has the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
    • Someone who is a Team Player

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Must have experience in using Excel or other data tools
