The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.
This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.
Objectives of this Role
Marketing and Communications (MarComs) is responsible for the messaging, strategy, and implementation of communications campaigns that promote the Nasdaq brand and help drive sales in each of our core businesses. Marketing and Communications encompass advertising, brand management, corporate communications, domestic and international direct marketing, and research.
Potential projects include the launch of data that informs trading ideas; the launch of platforms that inform how a pension or endowment allocates assets across asset managers; and the launch of partner ETFs with the goal of accelerating assets.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
You will work with our marketers, product managers, and sales teams to make important contributions to new and ongoing marketing programs. Sample projects will include working on the launches of new data sources to inform trading; new platforms to inform long-term investing; partner marketing to highlight how clients leverage Nasdaq solutions every day to impact their performance.
One of the program’s goals is to encourage participants to pursue (advanced) degrees in marketing and/or business administration. Your on-the-job learning will be augmented with mentoring, community building, and networking opportunities.
You play a role throughout the marketing cycle: from positioning, messaging, and storytelling to determining and orchestrating global launch plans and identifying market research needs. You also own monitoring our competition and building competitive positioning and response plans.
