The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

Team Ara, is a highly focused group of seniors engineers working towards a better iOS application experience and modern backend architecture. We are looking for someone who has an interest in JAVA, SpringBoot, backend architecture or iOS, SwiftUI.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Your Role

The role will depend on whether an intern is an iOS or backend developer

• iOS Development:
  • Build iOS native application screens using Swift UI
  • Practice test-driven development
  • Work with MVVM architecture
  • Mobile databases, offline sync, etc.
• Backend Development:
  • Work on Springboot application
  • Write backend APIs for new iOS applications
  • Follow test-driven development
  • Build POCs

• Is working on completing a degree in Computer Science, or Software/Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or related field (preferably graduating by 2022 or 2023)
• Must have knowledge of either IOS/SwiftUI/UIKit or JAVA/SpringBoot/MySQL/Redis
