    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Nasdaq North American Markets Sales Team is responsible for working with our members and partners on ways to grow our business. The team works across multiple businesses including US Equities, Options, Connectivity, Fixed Income, and Canada Equities.

    Potential projects:

    • Predicting what the industry and Nasdaq look like 5-10 years from now
    • The impact Gen Z will have on the industry and Nasdaq.
    • Key Client focus
    • Competitive Landscape Analysis

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The North America Markets Sales Intern will be responsible for:

    • Understanding the businesses we support, including market structure, competitive landscape, regulatory and the economics
    • The role will include reading and creating client activity reports
    • The intern will work directly with the sales team and all complimentary groups
    • At the end of the intern program, our intern will present the project that they have been assigned
  • Qualifications
    • Is working on completing a degree in Business, or Finance, or Economics, or related fields (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Has good math skills
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
    • Someone who is well organized
    • Has interest in the Financial Industry
