The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.
This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.
Objectives of this Role
Nasdaq is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join a small, highly collaborative team and create the next generation of data products for trading and investing. You’ll work on real-world problems in a dynamic environment with talented team members to deliver quality software.
Successful candidates will be curious, independent thinkers who are excited by challenges and driven by building great products. They will play a key role in developing Nasdaq’s Machine Intelligence & Data Platform product offerings.
The internship will involve building new features (APIs, analytics, and data products) on Nasdaq Cloud Data Service (NCDS) - a modern and efficient method of delivery for real-time exchange data and other financial information. Data is made available through a suite of APIs, allowing for effortless integration of data from disparate sources, and a dramatic reduction in time to market for customer-designed applications. The API is highly scalable and robust enough to support the delivery of real-time exchange data.
