2021 Summer Internship - Vendor Management Analysis Intern

New York, NY
  • Responsibilities

The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

Our team manages vendor meetings and logistics for meetings and events that will include dozens of companies. Most of these meetings will include a large number of Nasdaq employees from most of the technology and business groups. Each engagement needs an agenda and is tracked through our Salesforce interface with notes and goals.

Additionally, we are looking for help with MarketSite activities that focus on collaboration technology options. This can include Zoom, Teams and other software. We engage with anywhere from 10-20 vendor meetings per week which will require someone who can manage many activities going on in the same day.

    Project Overview

Projects would include vendor meeting setup and documentation on a daily basis. Organizing lunch and learn meetings on Wednesdays is another project. Project planning for Marketsite activities within the group is another project. Setting up a confluence page for vendors would be another project.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

The major areas of responsibility will be to help manage vendor meetings, documenting details on each meeting and publishing results to multiple groups. Agenda information, logistics and other factors involved with these meetings are important.

Many times we are hosting executives on the Nasdaq or vendor side. Most of the work is completed with Microsoft Office Products. We would also like to begin using PowerBI for reporting purposes. There will be some education available for PowerBI. For the Marketsite activities, we will be organizing project plans that will involve collaboration technologies. Some onsite help may be needed but not mandatory.
