    Job Description

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    As part of the Global Operations team, working within the group supporting our critical exchange and market data systems, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand what an exchange's technical operations staff does on a daily basis. From monitoring critical market infrastructure and troubleshooting real-time systems to working closely with our developers on software releases and capacity testing. This is a fast paced and exciting environment to learn about how exchange systems are run and operated.

    You will be given a project to work on that is designed to enhance the efficiency and automation of a process, workload, or problem set.

    You will be given a project to work on that is designed to enhance the efficiency and automation of a process, workload, or problem set. You will also be working closely with the support team on daily operational activities around incident and change management.

  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or related field (must be graduating by June 2022)
    • A problem solver
    • Understanding cloud technologies and services

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge in Linux and scripting
    • Knowledge in using automation tools
    • Experience in creating dashboards
