    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

    Objectives of this Role

    Our Team

    The Global Technological operations team provides 24x7 to all the business applications at Nasdaq. We partner with various business operations and technology teams to our platforms are operating within SLA. This organization is also in charge of providing observability and performance monitoring for these business applications. We leverage solutions from Splunk, Datadog, Appdynamics to support both on-premise and cloud environments.

    Project Overview

    The intern will help manage our technical operations tool suite which has incorporated the integration of various tools. This project will require a focus on working with stakeholder teams and use JIRA two assign tasks and track the progression of the project. The team and the assigned mentor will empower the intern to understand the scope and aid in his or her delivery of this project.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    The intern will be managing our technical operation roadmap projects as we are in the middle of a transformational journey. We are taking a new approach starting from an application onboarding to production run state. With this program, we are enhancing our service delivery with automation and integration of all existing technical operations tools and processes.

  • Qualifications
    • Is working on completing a degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or related field (preferably graduating in 2022 or 2023)
    • Must have excellent communication skills and a self-starter

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Technical skills that are nice to have are programming in modern languages and understanding of technical concepts on Cloud and distributed architecture (i.e. Python, Java, Data Science, and analytics)
