  • Responsibilities

    The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning & development opportunities as well as “lunch and learn” sessions with senior leaders.

    This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August. Upon completion of this internship, outstanding interns will be evaluated for full-time opportunities with NASDAQ post-graduation.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in developing a sales or client-facing career at Nasdaq. You’ll work closely with the inside sales team, as well as partner with Account Executives in a defined territory to initiate new opportunities and identify solutions that will help our clients reach their strategic outcomes.     Project Overview

    The intern will be working alongside the Inside Sales team to identify new markets for the team to prospect into. They will be partnered with the Inside Sales Team and Sales team to do proactive outreach to prospects, sit in on sales calls and the intern will also be through an NBV certification. They will have KPIs targets to measure their success specifically tied to meetings booked and new opportunities generated from those meetings.

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    Your Role

    • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in your defined territories
    • Prospect potential clients through calls, emails, and social channels. Schedule meetings and perform demonstrations for sales partners when required
    • Supports the Account Executives in closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives
    • Proactively take on new initiatives and share ideas on improving our approach
    • Manage all workflows effectively through our CRM system
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Is working on completing a degree in Business or Finance or Economics (must be graduating by June 2022)
    • Someone who is interested in a career in sales
    • Hard working, enthusiastic, and a curiosity for learning
    • Has good communication skills and teamwork
