    PURPOSE STATEMENT

    Support the execution of the Foodservice Division's School annual business plan with responsibilities for bid management and commodity processing. This includes: bid management, support and training for both Rich Products and broker School managers. Support K - 12 segment with ongoing training of USDA regulations, policies along with states standards and regulations; manage training and process of record keeping (Processor Link). This is is a remote opportunity

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

    BIDS/AWARDS

    • Process school district broker bids with 100% accuracy
    • approves bids w/in Director, Sales (K-12) guidelines
    • escalates to Revenue Manager (K-12) when outside guidelines
    • Directly managing the bid process by interfacing with Tier 1 and 2 school districts level and distributor contacts where warranted.
    • Manage the commodity allocation by drawing down balances and executing to States requirements/regulations
    • Ensure associates and brokers respond to bids within submission deadlines
    • Process sales deals for all bids won and ensure brokers do the same for their respective bids
    • Support projects utilizing Interflex and Bid award to better capture market shareto grow base business and secure new business
    • Attend key state bid meetings and industry events

    ANALYSIS

    • Evaluate market conditions and competitive intelligence to successfully deploy right pricing for school year in conjunction with K-12 sales leadership, category marketing and revenue management trade strategy

    ADMINISTRATION AND TRAINING

    • Generates monthly, quarterly K-12 segment performance for Director, Sales (K-12) review/decisions - this is for both commodities and commercial school bids
    • Act as a contact for Processor Link (Fidelis):
      • Support customer projects utilizing Processor Link (Fidelis)to better capture market shareto grow base business and secure new business
    • Train brokers and associates on commodities and state processes
    • Support trainings (on commodity process) and new product launches (SEPDS/USDA approval) to grow and create new volume

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree required (in business management, finance, economics, marketing or related field)
    • MBA preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role with proven problem-solving skills and proven experience in solid application of attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with fluctuating volume in workload and ability to meet tight deadlines; demonstrated ability to be flexible
    • Demonstrated basic analytical skills
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills to include strong presentation skills
    • Strong PC proficiency to include comprehensive Microsoft Office software competency including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Intermediate Excel user (experience in SAP related to invoicing components and orders, G2, Processor Link, Power BI and Blacksmith a plus)
    • Ability to travel as needed to support School Segment, Division Meetings/Food Shows/Industry Events #CORP123
