    PURPOSE STATEMENT

    We are looking for a marketing intern to join the Christie Cookie Company D2C division. You will work in office assisting the Marketing team in implementing marketing strategies and report to the Digital Marketing Coordinator. As a marketing intern, you will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and in the Direct-to-Consumer sector. This intern will be required to work 20-30 hours / week.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

    Responsibilities- may include, but not limited to the following:

    • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

    • Assist with website maintenance and consistency

    • Media tracking & reporting

    • Help manage marketing materials

    • Help organize marketing events

    • Conduct surveys/opinion polls, then analyzing it according to trends (SM+)

    • SM content creation

    • Research project on merchandise sales

    • Holiday decorating in bakeries

    • Own pitching for local & national holiday gift guides

    • Proactively seek media opportunities

    • Maintain media lists

    • PR drops to influencers & media

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in marketing or related field and be enrolled during the time of internship

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

    • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques andunderstanding of basic marketing principles

    • Knowledge of MS Office, especially in Outlook, Excel and Teams

    • Self-motivated and resourceful team player who is able to multi-task

    • Experience in Photoshop &/or Canva is an added advantage

    • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)

    • Creative problem-solving skills

    • Local transportation
