    PURPOSE STATEMENT

    The Procurement Intern will be responsible for supporting the Procure-to-Pay transition team. The timing of this internship will begin May 2023 through summer with potential to continue into fall. Minimum of 40 hours/week.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

    • Perform direct outreach to Rich's Supplier Base to enhance compliance with newly updated policies and procedures

    • Track and report out on performance of supplier enablement status utilizing assets developed by the team

    • Participate in testing as needed for newly released functionality and track overall results

    • Create training guides and documentation for suppliers

    • Participate in team meetings

    • Create analytics as needed to support policy decisions

    • Contribute to fidelity of supplier master data by working through cross functional teams to resolve inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and omissions

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • MBA or undergraduate student pursuing Business or Supply Chain Management

    • Minimum GPA 3.0

    • Strong Excel, statistical and spreadsheet analysis skills

    • Excellent organizational skills

    • Strong communication (written & verbal) skills

    • Technical savvy and resourcefulness are a must

    • Independent worker

    • Preference will be giving to those who reside in the Western New York area
