• Manage assigned projects; work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive value-added projects to completion.
• Present project results to management and Sr. Leadership.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties, as needed
• Participate in all company-sponsored internship training and volunteer activities
• All other duties as assigned

Gain hands-on experience as a staff accountant assisting with various operational duties as assigned, including but not limited to:

• Post journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Ad-hoc reporting
• Assist with financial and internal audits

Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a highly accredited college/university pursuing an Accounting degree.
• Must be a junior in academic standing if pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (anticipated graduation date of May 2019 or earlier) or a Senior in academic standing if pursuing a Master’s/Five year Master’s in Accountancy program.
• Previous internship/work experience in an Accounting setting highly preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Proven proficiency with MS Office applications, advanced in MS Excel skills required
• Working knowledge of a large accounting ERP software platform (such as SAP) helpful
• Ability to manage work responsibilities and multi-task
• High intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning
• Results-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work, high attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communications skills in a team environment
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional matrix organization
