    Ingredion is seeking a highly motivated student to join our Tulsa-based Shared Service Center as an Associate Order Management - Intern during summer 2023. In this position, you will help support the Manager, Order Management in ensuring the accuracy of order data for the order processing flow and upload the customers’ invoice to the portals for US/Canada. You will also collaborate with the Lead, assisting with all Emerging Business monthly reconciliations and finalize journal entries for accounting.     AS AN ASSOCIATE ORDER MANAGEMENT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Process customer orders for ingredient products, address questions, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries

    • Participate in the after-hours program for the department

    • Ensure the accuracy of order data and act as the expert for the order processing flow (system and processes). Compute mathematical calculations related to order processing, delivery times, and freight as necessary

    • Maintain up to date files according to the standard operating procedure. Ensure copies of orders and return orders are given to appropriate partners

    • Ensure all customer complaints are tracked according to department and company procedures

    • Develop and maintain an understanding of Ingredion’s products in your area of responsibility in order to provide valuable information to the customer

    • Seek to purposefully identify issues, consider alternative solutions, and take corrective action to resolve problems. Provide support/service to the client as well as communicating status to all parties involved

    • Utilize company databases to ensure procedures are followed, provide accurate information, and update documents as necessary

    • Prioritize tasks accurately and in a timely manner

    • Collaborate with and support team members. Participate in group problem solving and team activities

    • Serve as a liaison between external customers and internal functions to ensure customer satisfaction

    • Recommend and implement process improvement

    • Collaborating with the Tulsa Shared Service Lead to support SOX financial control activities

    • Preparing monthly reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure journal entries are complete

    • Coordinating and the annual review of Desk Top Procedures (DTP’s)

    • Performing account analysis and other projects as requested by manager

    • Interacting with, and supporting team members and participating in group problem solving and team activities

    THE ASSOCIATE ORDER MANAGEMENT INTERN POSITION IS WELL-SUITED FOR YOU IF YOU:

    • Have good prioritization and organizational skills and are dedicated and able to manage time well, while working within strict deadlines

    • Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with team members to deliver results and support business performance

    • Are a creative, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity

    • Enjoy working collaboratively with peers and teams in the organization

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

    • Progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred

    • Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term

    • Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ect.)

    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills preferred

    • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
