  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for someone passionate about managing and publishing operational content for our retail employees. As the amount of information available to employees continues to increase, effective content management is paramount to business success. We need someone who will think critically and make data-based decisions about content relationships, metadata, re-usability and what information our field partners need for success. Curiosity and a desire to problem-solve technical and business process problems are also a must in this hybrid role!

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Supports publishing of retail core resources (documents, web content, videos) to multiple digital endpoints and the content publishing process for retail planning cycles. Leverages publishing vendors as appropriate for large content projects. Willing to work with multi-lingual content.
    • Regularly supports content permissions management on multiple digital endpoints
    • Acts as contact for all users on system issues or problems. Troubleshoots, identifies and tracks software and hardware issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational. Develops recommendations and coordinates issue resolution with Information Technology (IT) and outside service providers based on business unit priorities. Documents and communicates problem resolution.
    • Analyzes current processes, tools, system or database and makes recommendations for development, improvement or simplification. Acts as a subject matter expert in cross-functional teams to provide recommendations on new initiatives or projects. Assesses benefits to be derived from systems improvements and quantifies impact to business unit.
    • Maintains the integrity and the functionality of business unit systems by monitoring system performance; analyzing problems and recommending solutions. Monitors usage trends to identify potential problems. Maintains systems configurations, documentation and procedures, such as user setups and tool administration. Researches, designs and schedules standardized reports or creates adhoc reports or data queries to support the business unit.
    • Works with IT partners, functional analysts and vendors on medium projects to coordinate system enhancements. Tracks project progress and provides updates to impacted parties. Communicates new system functionality to department and assists users in understanding implications.

    SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

     Experience managing multiple content types (3 years)

    • Experience managing SharePoint (document management, content organization, permissions) (3 years)

    • Systems design, testing and implementation (3 years)

    • Experience managing multiple deliverables and timelines (3 years)

    • Experience working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders (3 years)

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    ·        Working knowledge of HTML/XML and content management systems

    ·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    ·        Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

    ·        Ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner

    ·        Comfortable with changing priorities based on shifting business needs

    ·        Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    ·        Administrative and organizational skills

    ·        Knowledge of business requirements management

     

    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    ·        Ability to read French

    ·        Copy editing

    ·        Advanced skill in Excel

    ·        Customer Service
