Ingredion is seeking a motivated and outgoing student to fill our Clean and Simple platform Internship for summer 2023. As the US & Can Clean and Simple platform Intern, you will support key platform activities. You will get to be creative and learn the portfolio and priorities as well as assist the platform lead with activities related to innovation/ marketing projects, support strategy and pricing of the platform, all while collaborating with G2M teams.

AS THE C&S PLATFORM INTERN, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Support the regional lead with the innovation projects and new launches in the region with marketing and business activities

• Support with the new strategy and pricing activities for the US/Can Clean and Simple platform. This will include market research and deep understanding of the current portfolio.

• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams (including sales, technical, marketing) to build and execute against the Clean and Simple platform priority areas.

THE CLEAN & SIMPLE PLATFORM INTERN POSITION IS WELL-SUITED FOR YOU IF YOU ARE:

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Progress towards a bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food or Chemical Engineering or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred

• Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term

• Proactive, flexible with “Go-Getter” mentality.

• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written (business presentation or reports)

• Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each workday

• Outstanding team player and collaborator

• Business and financial acumen highly desired
