    Function Job Description

    Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from shelf to field,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

    The Customer Service Routing Intern plays a crucial role in the supply chain process, ensuring that deliveries are made most efficiently and cost-effectively while meeting customer expectations and compliance with applicable regulations. The primary focus will involve creating optimal routes for the distribution of products by analyzing distance, delivery schedules, load sizes and cost to determine the best ways.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Create optimized delivery routes considering distance, time, traffic, and customer requirements.
    • Schedule and coordinate orders to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations.
    • Proactively troubleshoot delivery issues and find appropriate solutions on a timely manner.
    • Monitor and track route performance, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments.
    • Generate reports on route optimization, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
    • Provide recommendations and insights for future route planning and logistics optimization.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce delivery costs and improve operational efficiency.
    • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery and routing.

    Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration.
    • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.
    • Must live in or near the Wilkes Barre, PA area (housing or transportation will not be provided for this opportunity).
    • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Mondelēz International (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status.

    Compensation

    • The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900 - $1,150.
    • Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
