    This position is currently located in Fairfax, VA and will relocate to Midtown, NYC in February 2018.

    • Cast a compelling vision for developing talent.
    • Lead the methodology and process design of a scalable solution providing leadership development to 100+ employees.
    • Create & execute a learning strategy inclusive of blended learning programs.
    • Design developmental pathways for every level employee and ensure quality execution.
    • Partner directly with Operations to design and execute a strategy to create and maintain -
    • Positive Employee Relations across the entire restaurant maintaining a culture that engages directly with leadership.
    • Reimagine, create, and lead execution of a talent and performance management process across the entire staff, with a specific focus on a simple, effective and value-adding methodology.
    • Source and lead a high performance talent/HR team and of 90% A players.
    • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the impact of development activities on the business including evaluation of staff.
    • Scale services and tools – design solutions, processes and procedures that will scale with the - Company’s growth in volume and complexity - successfully manage all aspects of implementation working in partnership with operations.
    • Define key performance indicators – develop metrics and core programs and track delivery against program objectives, lead improvement initiatives and encourage a culture of excellence, efficiency, innovation, and customer service.
    • Establish and strengthen relationships with the local businesses, visitors, community, and government.
    • Work closely with the Operator to proactively implement systems to mitigate risk and respond to any HR-related legal issues (unemployment claims, etc).
    • Organize and maintain office and employee files and ensure legal compliance (New York City, DOL, etc).
    • Oversee Talent Acquisition to accomplish key metrics on performance, retention and turnover and meet or exceed annual goals.
    • Perform job analysis and carefully craft compelling and accurate job descriptions and clarify roles for all positions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organization Effectiveness, OD/Leadership, HR or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years directly related experience in a for-profit company.
    • Experience leading at least one selection, contract negotiation, implementation and ongoing maintenance of a technology system (ie LMS, ATS, HRMS, etc.).
    • Proficiency leading the design of learning for a variety of modalities inclusive of blended methods such as instructor-led, eLearning, self-paced, virtual, social, mentored, micro and mobile.
    • Must demonstrate expertise in building and managing 3rd party relationships to support the development and delivery of talent development programs and interventions.
    • Strong project planning and management skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team.
    • Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues with employees.
    • Experience handling HR-related legal issues and ensuring compliance.
    • Experience handling PR and social activism issues both internally and externally.
    • This person must have or be willing to engage in and gain, thorough hands-on approach, an understanding of operations in a Chick-fil-A restaurant and enjoy a manual labor and/or physical aspect of the operations.
    • PHR or SPHR preferred
    • Experience leading talent development in a diverse organization is desired.
