For this position, you will need to wear two hats. One related to Internal Control (IC) responsibilities where a process currently exists and another related to creating a Social Media (SM) platform to animate/engage/motivate/reward our Internal Control audience that currently doesn’t exist. Our goal is to use social media to market Internal Controls and improve our relationships with our BPO’s, Control Owners and overall DANgo community. We need to deliver to them the information they need, answer their questions or simply to animate Internal Controls. Not an easy task. Therefore, a creative person is needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that process documentation is maintained by the BPOs (procedures, policies, flowcharts) to monitor the different activities and skilled at collecting, quickly understanding and analyzing complex data and process information (IC)
• Evaluate and monitor the Internal Control system in place related to financials, operations and accounting principles (IC)
• Test and document key controls in terms of timing and quality and when deficiencies are identified, contribute to identify recommendations (IC)
• Create the online presence of Internal Controls by integrating social media, search engine optimization techniques and blogging into a brand's identity (SM)
• Create process to track and monitor use of social media network(s) created. Stats like followers, click-throughs, fans, comments and traffic (SM)
• Able to attach effective metrics to social media performance (SM)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Accounting and/or finance coursework (IC)
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information (IC)
• Microsoft office program knowledge a must, strong in Excel (IC)
• Experience and familiarity with a multitude of social networking sites (SM)
• Strong online communication skills
• Strong creative skills and attention to detail (SM)
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to work both independently and as a productive team member. Self-motivated

Domestic travel approximately 10%. Possibility of travel to Canada
