  • Responsibilities

    The Ingredion HR Team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic college student to join the organization for an internship during summer 2023, with possible extension into the fall 2023 and spring 2024. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various members HR Leaders in DEI, Internal Communications, and Talent Acquisition to facilitate, provide support and guidance to achieve and impact in the HR Goals of each function. We are looking for someone with a great service attituded, results-focused, strong project management who has a strong initiative to improve status-quo and incorporate change in a dynamic and agile work environment.

    AS A GLOBAL DEI/INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS/TALENT ACQUISITION HR INTERN, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Assisting and coordinating on the understanding current landscape of external partnerships across Ingredion.

    • HR Support: Assistance and follow up to Total Rewards COE, on overall wellbeing initiatives in 2023 plan.

    • Analyzing and updating Life page on Ingredion’s Linked page to align with refreshed Employee Branding information.

    • Collaborating with the DEI, Sustainability and Communications team to develop engaging campaigns to improve and demonstrate culture and purpose.

    • Improving our employee experience, providing support and improvements for Steam video channel.

    THE GLOBAL DEI/COMMUNICATIONS/TA HR INTERN POSITION IS WELL-SUITED FOR YOU IF YOU:

    • Are well organized and have the ability to prioritize workloads.

    • Are a creative problem solver and critical thinking.

    • Are technically proficient and utilize technology: Video creation in efficient ways

    • Have outstanding service and focus results.

    • Are able to work both independently as well in a team.

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

    • Progress towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, Economics or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred

    • Ability to work 40 hrs. per week during the year internship term over the summer

    • Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills

    • General knowledge of Microsoft Office

    • Outstanding attention to detail with verbal and written communication skills

    • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day

    TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION, CANDIDATES MUST:

    • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as OPT or CPT.

    • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree Program (with an HR focus). If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
