The Ingredion IT Team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic college student to join the organization for an internship during summer 2023, with possible extension into the fall 2023 and spring 2024. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various IT leaders and fulfill the Procurement function responsibility via contribution as a professional by executing category strategies via sourcing events such as electronic RFP’s, supplier negotiations, contract system implementations, etc. You will learn from, work with and network with Ingredion IT and Procurement professionals from different functions across the company, including access to industry experts and senior leadership across the globe. We are looking for someone with a great service attitude, focus on results, and data analysis who has a strong initiative to improve status-quo and incorporate change in a dynamic and agile work environment.

AS A GLOBAL IT PROCUREMENT AND SOURCING INTERN, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Collaborating with the IT teams including Office of the CIO, Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and Digital team on projects and sourcing priorities.

• Assisting and coordinating RFP/Sourcing events for Global IT Business Partners.

• Facilitating IT Contract renewals and negotiate Service Agreements, SaaS Agreements, SOWs, and Order Forms.

• Tracking, analyzing, and updating monthly IT KPIs including Cost Savings, Cost Avoidance and Transformation Realized Benefits Value.

THE GLOBAL IT PROCUREMENT AND SOURCING INTERN POSITION IS WELL-SUITED FOR YOU IF YOU:

• Are well organized and have the ability to prioritize workloads.

• Are a creative problem solver and critical thinker.

• Are technically proficient and possess working knowledge of Ariba Sourcing or other Sourcing tools and CLM technologies.

• Familiar with PowerBI and reporting capabilities.

• Strong financial acumen.

• Have outstanding service and focus results.

• Able to prioritize and organize, and are dedicated and able to manage time well, while working within strict deadlines.

• Are able to work both independently as well in a team.

• General IT knowledge.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Progress towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Supply Chain, IT or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred

• Ability to work 40 hrs. per week during the year internship term over the summer

• Demonstrated integrity, innovation, initiative, teamwork, adaptability and interpersonal/communication skills

• Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills

• General knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Outstanding attention to detail with verbal and written communication skills

• Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
