  • Responsibilities

    The Ingredion Global Talent for Operations Program is designed to provide recent Operations (Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain) graduates the opportunity to build a superior foundation in operations and grow organically through the Ingredion organization. As a GTO Associate, you will be guided through a 3-year rotational program in one of two tracks: manufacturing or supply chain. During the 3-year program, you will take on a new role every 12 months – focusing on a new theme each year.

    • Year 1: Technical Foundations
    • Year 2: Leadership Foundations
    • Year 3: Elective

    During this rotational development program, you will be required to move to a new location at least once – but 2 or 3 times is encouraged to broaden your professional network and breadth of operations experience. As a GTO Associate, you will also be enrolled in our GTO Learning Curriculum, which has three main components: Ingredion Technical & Business Content, University Partner led Operations & Supply Chain Content, and Personal Development Content.

    Manufacturing track rotations could include: Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance / Reliability, EHSS, Quality, Production Planning, Lead / Supervisor, Corporate Engineering, Relevant International Assignment, Cross-Functional Assignment

    Supply Chain track rotations could include: Logistics, Customer Support, Warehousing, Agribusiness, Production Scheduling, Analytics, Demand / Supply Planning, Continuous Improvement, Relevant International Assignment, Cross-Functional Assignment

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study specific to cohort track (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, Business or other related degrees)
    • 0 – 2 years of professional experience working in an operations area
    • 3.0+ GPA in CAN / US or 80%+ in Mexico
    • Be willing to enroll in the full 3-year program (starting July 2022)
    • The ability and interest to be geographically mobile during the 3 years (moving at least 1 time, if not 2 or 3)
    • Interest in a career in the food manufacturing industry
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and prepare concisely written reports
    • Proven analytical problem solving, multi-tasking, and time management skills
    • Experience with PC Applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
