Ingredion invites applications for a Food Systems Marketing Intern to coordinate and provide technical marketing expertise for product promotions and marketing campaigns. Responsible for preparing proposals, presentations and communication materials working under direct supervision.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food, Marketing or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred

• Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term

• Demonstrated experience with hands-on food concept development formulation laboratory and/or pilot plant equipment

• Knowledge of common food processes, food ingredient functionality and ingredient interactions preferred

• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills (technical reports for distribution, presentations, data analysis etc.)

• Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ect.)

• Ability to travel 10-15% domestically

• Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
