    Ingredion has an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to work with our North AmericaFinance Team. In this internship position, you will assist in the assembling of financial data, perform financial analysis, and provide sufficient periodic financial information to support Ingredion's global strategic and financial objectives. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis which includes supporting operating expense annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic plan processes. You will also be performing a variety of other ad-hoc analysis. We believe that this internship will help supply you with the chance to apply lessons from the classroom to the corporate world.

    As the North America Finance Intern, your responsibilities may include:

    • Assisting internal partners by compiling and reviewing Ingredion annual and 5-year strategic capital plan
    • Supporting monthly reporting, latest estimate financial forecasts, rolling forecast process, and PowerBI reporting, and any ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
    • Presenting the results of a key project or a summary of your findings to Finance leadership upon internship completion
    • Assisting in the identification of improvement opportunities and development of action plans
    • Contributing to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure all required reporting is timely and accurate
    • Managing positive relationships with internal partners to deliver results and support business performance

    The North AmericaFinance Intern position is well suited for you if you:

    • Have good analytical and creative problem-solving skills required with a strong initiative to improve status-quo
    • Are a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity, who is able to prioritize and have creative organizational skills to work within deadlines
    • Have proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization
    • Work with peers and others in the organization in a dynamic work environment

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree program in Finance and/or Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred
    • Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
    • Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting/finance concepts and theories used in the business environment
    • Proven proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with SAP, BW, and Power BI is preferred
    • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day

    To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:

    • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as OPT or CPT.
    • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD Degree Program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
