NOW BAKING – PASTRY CHEF- PRINCI KITCHEN

Starbucks will proudly serve Princi food in standalone Princi bakeries and our Roasteries and Reserve stores.  These handcrafted recipes made from exceptional ingredients will be prepared from scratch by the team at the Princi Production Kitchen. 

The PRINCI KITCHEN PASTRY COOK is a full-time position, responsible for preparing fresh food daily with an obsessive attention to detail.  In the role you’ll apply your past baking and pastry experience to:

• Prepare designated pastry and confectionary items according to established recipes
• Form pastries into uniform portions with knife or divider, mixes cake batter, sheets pastry dough using appropriate equipment and places in pans; proofs dough and bakes in oven; inspects product for quality during and after baking and adjusts processes as required
• Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Attend to day-to-day problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies; detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, and/or other unusual conditions
• Provide training and coaching for staff as needed

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated pastry and baking experience (2 years) 
• Current local health and safety certifications
• Pastry or Baking Certification/Degree preferred
• Excellent reading, writing and communication skills and fluent English required.  Additional languages beneficial
