  • Responsibilities

    As Banza grows, our product team is looking for a part-time intern to support product development activities. Your role is critical in helping the team make key decisions on new product formulation and monitor product quality. You must be highly organized to simultaneously support the multiple products in development. You must have a keen eye for product excellence and process improvement – when you see an imperfect noodle, you should be thinking of ways to understand how we can improve. You should excel in creating processes and strive for continuous improvement of Banza products and product development processes.

    What you'll do:

    • Execute daily cook tests in-office and process results
    • Manage weekly product quality assessment, produce monthly quality reports for leadership
    • Support benchtop formulation prototyping
    • Manage in-office sample inventory
    • Support execution of consumer research projects
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications
    • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration or another related degree required
    • Previous work or internship experience in an office setting required
    • Interest or experience in design thinking methodology
    • Love Banza and cooking with health-focused ingredients
    • Passion for engaging with customers and rapidly creating and testing prototypes that meet user needs
    • Organized, curious, self-directed, thrives in ambiguity
    • Local to NYC, able to support 20 hours per week during business hours
