Enthusiasm to be part of something new and entrepreneurial. Proven customer service experience and/or mentality. A positive attitude and a calm head under pressure. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changes / "roll with the punches." Love of ice cream (especially really good homemade ice cream). Food industry experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of, interest in and/or passion for local, seasonal, organic food is a definite plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand on one’s feet for up to eight (8) hours. Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift.

Deliver outstanding customer service by cheerfully interacting with guests and clearly communicating product knowledge and information. Maintain and contribute to a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and following food safety guidelines. Follow all Smitten operations and procedures. Helping with day of event set-up and clean up as well as scooping and ice cream making during events. MUST HAVE UP TO DATE FOOD HANDLERS CARD

In the fall of 2009, Robyn bungee-corded Brrr™ atop a Radio Flyer wagon and began selling made-to-order ice cream on the streets of San Francisco with the help of pastry chef Robyn Lenzi. (Yes, they are both named Robyn). Brrr™ developed such a strong following that Robyn went on to open the first Smitten Ice Cream shop in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco in April of 2011, where the Smitten crew took on the title of "Brrristas™".
