The Internship will support reporting, analytics, and process improvement for the Supply Chain Division, which includes areas such as Network Optimization, Customer Logistics and Collaboration, S&OP, and Warehouse/Transportation. The expected duration is 10 to 14 weeks; May – August. The internship role is a full time position, with primary work hours of Monday – Friday averaging 40 hours per week.

Interns completing the 2018 summer program will have an opportunity to apply for DanoneWave’s Leadership Development Program. It’s a three (3) rotation training program, where employees will hold a variety of key roles in our manufacturing locations, as well as a rotation at our North America Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Inventory Management and Production Planning functions
• Analyzing performance metrics, such as fill rate and on time delivery
• Recommend areas for improvement
• Effectively work with key customers, both internally and externally
• Conduct weekly status meetings to report progress, resolve issues and make decisions supporting any project work
• Actively engage in cross learning opportunities to establish an understanding DanoneWave’s, and specifically the Supply Chain function
• Deliver Final Project Presentation – reviewing scope of work, analysis and results achieved

Education and Experience (Requirements):

• Pursuing BS or MS Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or similar degree with interest in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods industry
• Must have an projected graduation date of Dec 2018 or May 2019

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Management of multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and in meeting tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge
• Self-starter and leader amongst peers
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
