    About the Role

    This role is in the Supply Chain Planning Organization that will support the Demand and Supply Planning functions. This position will develop, document and share best practices on how to manage unconstrained forecasts balancing capacity, materials and cash flow.

    As a Planning Analyst, you will oversee the development of forecasts and production plans for your assigned business unit over a rolling 18-24 Month horizon. You will leverage your analytical and leadership skills to support the creation of a consumption-based category forecast while developing a realistic operations plan. You will be responsible for Key Performance Metrics such as, forecast accuracy, case fill rate, days of supply and ending inventory.

    You will also support the Long-Term Capacity Planning process for your assigned business unit by engaging with our cross-functional partners to create detailed SKU-level forecasts to be used in long-term capacity analysis. You will also work with the “Strategy & Transformation” team to help identify capacity unlocks to support category growth plans.

    Additionally, this role will work closely with the “Center of Excellence” to learn supply chain planning software and develop processes to better co-ordinate demand and supply planning. You will be asked to see trends and patterns within the data to increase efficiencies and reduce inconsistencies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Cross-functional collaboration, management and Influence on inputs and planning assumptions

    Collaboration, Analytics & Management

    • Assist the team with Consumption & Category Forecasting for your assigned business unit and partner with Sales, Commercial/Growth, Demand Planning, and Finance to gather key planning inputs that drive the forecast
    • Translate and analyze the demand forecast into a production plan that weighs capacity constraints, inventory levels, manufacturing capabilities and distribution network equally
    • Drive key IBP and supporting process steps in the monthly process to continuously update and validate planning assumptions and provide input and challenges to the team

    Influence

    • Remain an unbiased voice in the face of business pressures
    • Help identify risks, opportunities and collaborate on gap closing opportunities
    • Manage and influence transformations to planning practices to optimize efficiencies

    Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in: Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Chemistry or other Related Field
    • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

    Compensation

    • The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900-1,300
    • Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
