    The Position

    The Co-Op eCommerce Analyst role reports directly to the Director, Digital Customer Experience, eCommerce, CRM & ComEx Innovation, and works closely with several matrixed team members within the Commercial Excellence, Sales and Customer Support organizations.

    The role will be responsible for providing analysis, reporting and strategic insights on our customers’ digital journey, eCommerce adoption and usage of the myingredion.com portal. Data sources will include, but may not be limited to: Google Analytics, Salesforce.com, Power BI, HotJar and Primary Research done by or with team members. The eCommerce Analyst will present findings via the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Data Studio, Salesforce.com Reports & Dashboards, Power BI or other tools as we or he/she sees fit.

    The scope of eCommerce analytics includes customer segmentation for campaign targeting and messaging, journey or funnel analysis showing new and existing user journeys to and within the myingredion.com “portal” (Ingredion’s B2B website), adoption and transaction analytics within the portal, as well as customer journey analytics across our Digital channels as needed, and analysis of Net Promoter Score and Voice of the Customer feedback from users and non-users.

    The eCommerce Analyst will present these findings via email and when called for via web meetings to key peers and executives within the Commercial Excellence, Sales, and Service organizations.

    This role may be ideal for someone interested in a Marketing Management, eCommerce, or Customer Experience strategy career path. This is a business role, not a technical one and though some training and peer provided help is available, it’s possible that the successful individual will pursue and enjoy the opportunity to pursue self-driven learning via YouTube, Salesforce’s TrailHead, various user groups, and other readily available web sources as needed.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Mine data sources and produce reports on a scheduled and ad hoc basis

    • Produce insights based on the data and reports. Answer the questions “So what now?” and “Why did this happen?” with answers or options based on data

    • Be available as a subject matter expert on Customer Journey, eCommerce, and MyIngredion.com data

    • Provide requirements to Manager and others as appropriate on system design and data requirements as pertains to continuously improving how we source, manage, and use data to improve our business operations and customer knowledge

    • Make recommendations to standardize data acquisition, management, and analytical capabilities and enablers

    This position is well-suited for you if you bring:

    • A passion for customers, demonstrated business acumen and digital first mindset.

    • Experience using one or more measurement and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Salesforce.com, Power BI, HotJar, etc. An interest in mastering some or all of these as part of a skillset for your career. These tools do not need to BE your career, but perhaps you’ll value them as part of your career foundation.

    • Some understanding of and interest in B2B Marketing, Sales, and Service processes. eCommerce a plus.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across functions and or a variety of cultures/geographies

    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively within a fast-paced environment

    • An interest and alignment with Ingredion’s purpose.

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • A Bachelors’ degree in a relevant business and or technology focused discipline OR 3 or 4 semesters of full-time college study towards such a degree.

    • Availability to work full-time (remote) June thru August, then whether part- or full-time through December 2023. Part time can be flexible based on academic demands but expected to be 12-20 hours per week

    • A reliable internet connection and suitable home-office space to conduct work and attend web meetings with minimal visual or audio distraction (we all have dogs or love them, no worries there)
