    We’re looking for a sr. designer to join our Global Creative Studios in Seattle. You’ll work with talented creatives to help drive the success of one of the world’s most recognized and beloved brands. 

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintains highest level of innovative design execution.
    • Demonstrates a foundation in graphic design, typography, composition and layout.
    • Leads and/or supports the conceptual creative process and design development of multiple small- and largescale projects.
    • Actively seeks creative feedback from managers at appropriate junctures and works with other designers to receive and provide constructive critiques.
    • Keeps design leaders and business managers informed of project status.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute design projects.
    • Assists creative manager in mentoring and providing direction to designers and writers.
    • Develops and adheres to a creative strategy (including timelines) based on the project brief, creative criteria, and expected production values.
    • Articulately represents creative work to creative leadership supporting the design strategy.
    • Reviews creative concepts against the strategy, and demonstrates ability to communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and design details verbally and in writing.
    • Selects and supervises outside vendors, including other creatives, illustrators and photographers.
    • Finds and articulates white space opportunities, using probing questions to shape thinking and challenge the status quo.
    • Keeps a pulse on industry trends and innovation within category.

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Professional experience with a creative firm, advertising agency, or in-house creative department (4+ years)
    • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating visual/graphic design solutions 
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience in a creative firm, advertising agency or inhouse creative department
    • Expertise with typography, form and color sensibilities
    • Ability to effectively articulate concepts (visually and verbally)
    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within challenging time frames
    • Expert knowledge of graphics software including Adobe CS
    • Ability to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
    • Creative problem-solving, strategic thinking skills
    • Ability to work as a team leader
    • Ability to spot an idea/story that has the potential to drive the business, process or positively impact the brand in a meaningful way.
    • Ability to applying outside examples and external inspiration to drive different ways of thinking.
