    As a talent sourcer, you will work in partnership with recruiters to develop, implement and deliver creative, comprehensive, strategic sourcing strategies to identify high-quality, diverse candidates for key positions across the organization – with a specific focus on Starbucks Retail Leadership. You will apply well-developed sourcing skill to find passive candidates and talent pools using a wide range of traditional and non-traditional techniques, including competitive intelligence and research, social media, internet mining, and industry events and networking. Acting as a subject matter expert in the field of Talent Acquisition, you will find the best talent that will fuel the growth and success of the business.

    You will need to be creative in your strategies, organized and systemic in your workflows, collaborative in your approach, and focused on delivering outcomes that result in attracting a diverse slate of talent to do their very best work at Starbucks.

    As a talent sourcer you will:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive talent sourcing strategies that include but are not limited to internet navigation/data mining/Boolean searches and social media engagement, for key positions across the organization
    • Simultaneously works on both immediate and forecasted needs, applying appropriate and varied approaches to match each situation
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the external talent landscape through market research and competitive intelligence gathering; educates recruiters and business leaders accordingly to achieve optimal results
    • Develop and drive strategies to build deep and diverse talent pipelines
    • Match candidate profiles to relevant roles, and screens to assess availability, interest level and qualifications; represents candidate needs to recruiters and hiring teams
    • Enhance recruiter and hiring team sourcing capabilities by providing both formal and ad hoc training and coaching
    • Present creative solutions to enhance results
    • Engage in timely and appropriate communications with candidates, recruiters, hiring teams and other internal stakeholders
    • Ensure all searches and engagement strategies comply with Starbucks policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations
