    Handcrafted. All about connection. When you work with our brand, you hold Starbucks legacy. As a visual merchandising designer at Starbucks, you will develop in-store executions for the Reserve and Princi brands - bringing to life both our brand attributes alongside seasonal initiatives that align with our corporate goals. Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:

    • Collaborate with department manager, director, and category teams to develop visual communications for basic standards, seasonal updates, events and product launches for Roastery and Reserve in store presentation.
    • Manage competing priorities of projects to align with Company prioritization.
    • Provide functional expertise and executes functional responsibilities.
    • Apply design practices to communication materials based on store type, capacity, standards, and assortments.
    • Collaborates with team members to develop communication materials for fixtures, small-wares and signage for retail stores.
    • Execute communication materials of visual plan for promotions and events to retail partners in partnership with Visual Presentation Communications. 
    • Collaborate with internal studio teams on assigned projects.
    • Execute assigned department projects that promote the Starbucks Reserve brand identity and enhance the consumer experience.
    • Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization.
    • Develop plans for assigned projects, execute, and evaluate results.

  • Qualifications

    We'd love to hear from people with:
    • Visual merchandising experience 2-4 years 
    • Passion for the brand
    • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
    • Articulate - excellent written and verbal skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong aesthetic and design skills
    • Proven strength in problem analysis and creative problem solving
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Act and work with a sense of urgency
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Ability to build effective working relationships with cross functional teams and individuals
    • Competition - knows what other retailers are doing and can adapt learnings (including international markets)
    • Proficient in Mac programs and Microsoft Office
    • Strong photography skills
    • Strong proof reading skills
    • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
