Barbi Zakin Events is looking for an intern interested in special events and fundraising for not-for-profit organizations.

The internship will provide a unique experience to have a hands on experience on how to run an event from inception to completion.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Must be proficient in in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and analytic skills (i.e. research potential event honorees, venues, vendors, as well as potential new donors)
• Organized multi-tasker
• Ability to think on one’s feet and work at a quick pace
