SUMMARY

ARISTOCRAT is seeking a Jr. Animator to join our GIMMIE GAMES studio in Decatur, GA. As a member of our art department, you will bring to life the characters, environments, and other art assets that help us to create our immersive mobile gaming experiences.

The Animator role will work with the Animation Manager to produce the animated assets for our games. Candidates should have demonstrated skills in character animation, environment animation, and motion graphics. We encourage our creative team to contribute to all stages of game production sometimes beyond the assigned tasks.

Our art department prides itself on producing what we consider to be some of the most dynamic, compelling, and beautiful mobile slots games in the world. We believe in fostering a fun and collaborative work environment that both pushes our artists to be the best they can be, while also preserving a healthy work-life balance. We plan well and execute tasks efficiently.

This Jr. Animator position is an immediately available, full-time position at our Decatur office. This will be e hybrid role allowing the team member to work both from home and in our Decatur office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

RESPONSIBILITIES

•         Create quality and engaging animations for our exciting mobile games.

•         Deliver assets on time and within the budget.

•         Learn about casino game industry and apply knowledge to the game creation.

•         Prepare animations in accordance with customer platform technical specifications.

•         Keep files clean, organized, and fully layered for the dev team

•         Contribute positively to the creative culture of the art department.

•         All other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to create concept illustrations of a wide variety of subject matter.

• +2 years of experience in digital illustration.

• Demonstrated understanding of animation and design principles

• Expert knowledge of animation in After effects, Spine or Unity.

• Illustration skills a plus

• Love for games, art, and creative endeavors

• Prior experience using Jira, Perforce, or Unity is a Plus.

• Experience in mobile games is a Plus.
