    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    As a Level 3 Support Engineer, you will be the liaison between our customer support and DevOps/Engineering staff. You will be instrumental in supporting our new division which is about to launch exciting new products.  Our technical stack uses VMware Virtual Cloud Director and Nutanix as our platforms, and on top of these are predominantly Kubernetes based with Mongo as our data store. We use New Relic and Prometheus/Grafana for our dashboards and monitoring.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (WHAT YOU’LL DO)

    • Accurately classifying and troubleshooting issues

    • Maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLA) on tickets

    • Following Incident Response protocols and helping to guide the response plan

    • Documenting support-related processes and procedures (SOP)

    • Escalating issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate DevOps/Engineering staff

    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with teammates, and internal departments

    • Contributing to the constant improvement of yourself, your team, and the software support process as a whole

    • Identifying automation opportunities and working closely with the team towards automating these

    QUALIFICATIONS (WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR)

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

    • 3+ years of troubleshooting/support experience

    • Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

    • Must have strong communication skills and be able to work with a team

    • Ability to drive discussions towards conclusions

    • Articulate and should be able to express ideas and issues without inhibitions
